I was checking Linkconnector's program... Tho I joined then but I m sort of skeptic about this thing...

http://www.linkconnector.com/nakedlink.htm

the thing is they give url's like
< a hrf="www.merchantdomain . com">www. merchant com< img href= " http: // www merchant com /link_872638463(random number)>

well the above info looks confusing Very Happy... but I wonder how do they track aff sales?

Let me clear up some of the confusion regarding our Naked Link Technology (NLT) campaigns.

The link code you receive for an NLT link is of this form:

<a href="http://www.merchant.com">Merchant's Homepage<img src="http://www.linkconnector.com/traffic_record.php?lc=001234004567005678"></a>

The anchor tag <a> contains no tracking code which is different than a Standard link which looks something like:

<a href="http://www.linkconnector.com/traffic_affiliate.php?lc=001234004567005678">Merchant's Homepage<img src="http://www.linkconnector.com/traffic_record.php?lc=001234004567005678"></a>

In an NLT campaign the tracking (cookie writing) occurs on the merchant's landing page using special code we provide the merchant. In a Standard campaign the user is redirected through our network (where the cookie is written) before landing on the merchant's page. From that point forward the actions taken by the user are recorded in the same way and the affiliate gets full credit no matter the campaign type.

I hope that helps!

At present we only pay by check, but this summer we will be adding PayPal and Direct Deposit.
