Hi
Please someone tell me I'm just being a cinical Englander here
I received the Associate program Email yesterday regarding J Abraham's new partnership Program and popped over to take a look.
A very well writen and sincere seeming sales letter too, even if it did have some spelling errors.
However, I thought I'd sign up just to see what the 39 questions consisted of.
Now Mr Abraham's made a big deal out of the fact he's not just taking on anyone and everyone and all applications wll be reviewed by a human being.
So why a few hours later when I've only completed 19 out of the 39 questions do I get a congratulations Email welcoming me to his program?
this suggests to me that I've got a better business than I thought, which I doubt, he is, in fact, just accepting affiliates like any other program, and the talk about not accepting everyone is just clever sales talk and a way of just making you feel like one of the chosen few.
I don't like feeling like I've been duped or conned. Yes I know I haven't had to part with any money, but something being sold or promoted s something it isn't is the same as being missold.
Anyone had any thoughts on this one?
Cheers

i've known jay abraham's work for many years and been to his seminars and i can say with absolute certainty that the questionnaire is a gateway to more involvement from jay's side. that's all.
it's kind of a self-selecting thing if you know what i mean.
let's say you join the program and don't bother to fill in any questions. sure - he'll let you into the program, but he's not going to bother even attempting to help you build your business with his help.
but - take the time to fill in the questionnaire, and that's a bit of a flag that he needs to take a more detailed look at you, your business, and what you're doing.
i filled in the questionnaire and got some feedback that they were taking a look at my business and would be contacting me with ideas to build it and "take it to the next level".

Hi
Well that goes part way to explaining things.
However, the wording is misleading on his join up page then, he suggests that you'll only become part of the partneship program once someone has physically read your completed application, and based on those 39 questions they'll make their decision, which obviously isn't the case.
If they're just letting anyone become an affiliate, it's not an exclusive partnership program.
I'm not saying it's any less valualbe, I'm just saying it's misleading.

When I applied to join the program, the reply took several hours. To me, that indicates real live human beings are involved in checking applicants.
Judging by the emails I've received, there are quite a number of people working on the affiliate program, and that includes answering questions from affiliates. My questions and suggestions have been answered promptly. I like that.
Try sending a question or suggesting how something could be improved and see what happens. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I also signed up and it took a few hours. I know there are actual people looking at the applications but I'm sure they aren't looking as hard as the salesletter makes it seem.
Think about it, he's probably getting thousands of people signing up each day now that he's told people with lists about the program so he obviously doesn't have people being to detailed in the app checks.
One other thing...I downloaded and branded the 40-50 page report he had in the affiliate area and when I tried opening it I got a document error. Not sure if this is just my system or what but thought I'd put it out there.
I am very excited to be involved in his affiliate program though. I have many of his products and they are all world class products.
Hope this helps,
