Hi All,

I have been hearing that the money is in your list.

That seems to be so true, but why is there no easy to understand methods for developing your list.

I know there is a lot of list builders in this forum, who do have very large list.

Can you all shed some light and show us where to start building our list?

I would like to have an overall view of what it takes and what programs to use to get started with our list building.

You need a mailing list manager. You can free or paid scripts on the net. If you don't know how to install the script, you can go with services like aweber etc.

Once you put a form on your site, people subscribes. You have to promote your mailing list same way you do for your produt:

1. Offer free ecourse, ebooks to get them subscribed
2. Put your subscription form in the resourcebox of your artcles.
3. Use forums to promote your list

Because there are no easy methods. People who will have big lists have been developing their lists since years. So you have to start now, and after few years, you'd be in those list builders list Smile

traffic comes first Very Happy
well it's better to have a Name squeeze page on your site and all the traffic concentrated on that one page.
only after thatt you need ebooks n free stuff to bribe people..

It's extremely easy to build a list, and there are tons of methods. Radhika was on the money.

Basically by just taking all the peices right under your nose and putting them together.

With lots of free stuff you tend to get list members who don't spend money. You have to ask yourself if you want a lot of subscribers who joined just to get your freebies. I prefer fewer subscribers who are more responsive.

Your list will identify with you by what you give them. If you give them lots of freebies then in their minds you will be a freebie source.

On the other hand, if you offer them great information specific to your topic, then they come to know you as an expert source, and trust your sales recommendations down the line.

I favor in depth mini courses that I personally write for my subscriber incentives. This helps position me and they get exclusive content available no where else.
