... how long will it take before you site is really indexed?
heh. I mean... My website appeared in google for its first time today, but only when I searched for the specific URL. If I search for the main keyword of my site, it doesn't appear within the first 100 pages.
If you site is in Google with an url search, then it's indexed. If you haven't placed within top 100 that's a different animal entirely.
Right now things are in flux with Google and SEO so I think anyone would really hesitate to give you specifics on what to do to improve your rankings, except:
Create more content, more pages, more opportunities for rankings;
and get quality in bound links to your site from sites of authority in your topic if at all possible.

Hullo Eirikra,
I think Debs posted a great answer. Especially with Google being in flux. Some people have dropped way down and others held tight, for no apparent rhyme or reason.
I'm trying to learn the ropes with my fledgling site of internet marketing product reviews. It's a very crowded market, so I guess I should feel ok that it ranks 23rd out of 3,830,000 for the keywords 'internet marketing product reviews'. At least as of today. I'm currently working on putting all the product reviews on separate sub-pages which will hopefully help the Google placement for each review on the next crawl.
Anyway, just keep at it.
By the way, I was going to comment on your site, but didn't notice the url. Also, you might want to subsribe to Sean Burn's free newsletter. I think you can get it at www.webmastersreference.com (not an affiliate link). He also gives lots of free info on the site inself.
Best wishes,
