hi all,
jus wondering if anyone purchased michael campbell's "Revenge of mininet" and used his techniques? any feedback?
i m ready to buy this book. HOwever i m wondering if his techniques in this book still applicable since goggle florida update... any say?
Check for updates from Michael, the link is in the book. There is a tremendous amount of merit in the linking strategies, but also some borderline stuff, even before Florida, and that hasn't changed IMO.
Since I only have one site, I can't comment much on the outside linking aspect. I don't use js in my outgoing links to preserve page rank, as that would do my link partners no good, if I could even get any using that strategy.
A lot of what Michael has is relative to minisites but some can be used for content sites, and what I can use I do.
I am in the process of redoing some of the linking structure on my content site to incorporate some of the ideas in Revenge. I'll let you know.

Yes.
Michael describes how to set up a mini network of web sites that interlink together to help their Google ranking. The theory is that you make the sites look like they are owned by different people, so the linking structures aren't penalised.
To do this requires different domain registrars, different hosts (with scattered IPs) and different registration names, addresses and contact details. In other words, make sure you don't leave any clue for a human investigator. He even suggests the possibility of setting up a spoof affiliate program to justify the links.
It is a little bit dodgy, in some people's eyes.

I was one of those people that suspected Florida was brought in to combat overly perfect external linking structures (with anchor text and page title matches), but it appears that this isn't the case after all, so I can't think how Michael's techniques need be hurt by Florida any more than other people's.
Incidentally, Michael offers Leslie Rohde's "Dynamic Linking" as a bonus. This covers the different types of links (text, image, CSS, javascript) and the effects they have on PageRank and other SE versus human navigation issues far better than anything else I have read.
Just my opinion,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

Hi Lai!
I've read Michael Campbells Revenge of the Mininet.
His ebook is not for everyone. If you don't have some
Minisites up and running you couldn't profit in full from
his outstanding concept. I've tested and run his strategies
and they are working very well. They are even working after
the Florida Update. Michael is an expert when it comes to
affiliate marketing via Minisites and SE optimization!
