Hi,
I am using Dreamweaver to build an adsense site and I want to hear from anyone who has experience the same problems I'm having - especially if you have a sollution.
I have an adsense account and am using an HTML template to build a site. However, I can't get past this one problem: When I preview the page in a browser (the site isn't live yet), some of the adsense ads do not show.
I've checked the code, made sure I haven't gone over the limit of #of given ads on a page. I've made sure that "Public information ad" is checked (the default) on each ad box. But, whatever I've done, the ad box remains empty.
I've spent a day trying to resolve this, even calling the company I bought the template from (they couldn't figure out why the ads weren't showing up in the preview page. So, how can I sleep until I figure this out?
Any ideas?
Please let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Graham Hobbs

The site needs to be actually uploaded and be live before they will display.

I am not sure that you have to upload the pages, as long as you have an active internet connection.

However, I have noticed that sometimes there are not enough advertisers for a given keyword page or niche so if you put too many ads, some show up blank because nobody has paid for the major keywords on your page.

If you made 4 ads that simply had 1 link unit (125 x 125 I think) it may work.

Also, sometimes shows public service ads for a few minutes, but works eventually.

To really see what your ads will look like you have to upload. I have worked with dreamweaver for many years, and the older versions of DW was easier to see the adsense ads. I have full time internet connection.
