I am looking for the best way that you use to select a Clickbank product to promote.
Do you promote the products with higher gravity?
Low Gravity?
New Products?
Or some other method.
Also does anyone know a FREE way to improve searching Clickbank, I know cbmall improves it but I'm looking for a free option. _________________ Starting Smart! Affiliates Sign Up Here |

Some affiliates choose popular clickbank products :Advantage is if a product is popular you can safely say it has a high conversion rate. Downside is that too much affiliate competition. You would have these pgms already being promoted by adwords.
Another strategy is to pick less popular products. The key to success is to find untapped products which might have not been taken to their potential.
Generally scout around the last listing and probe. You would be surprised how many time good products are neglected.
Hope this helps. _________________ Jatin Dhillon

Hi Sundance,
Holkapolka is right, there are un-tapped products that are way below the ranking that are great, they just need to be "find out" by the masses and affiliates in general.
Normally "best seller" clickbank products are obviously ranked from 1st ranking from their respective category and in some cases, higher gravity helps.
For the FREE Clickbank mall, you can try :
http://cbdeluxe.com (click "Open A Mall" at the top right and you can register for a free mall.
http://cbglobe.com (this is great as you can set your own banner rotator (unlimited), link rotator (unlimited) and set clickbank adsense style you can insert in your webpage/s. This is one of the best free resources i got. Check it our guys.
Let us know how we can help.

That was a great article!
What I personally do is look for
clickbank products that will fit me,
And have at least a 50% pay (that means
you earn 50% of the sale).
What I mean by fit me is, can I sell
it to my family & friends? If so, then it fits me.
Try that direction for awhile, it
has made me alot richer! Blessings Diana _________________ http://www.ebookshowto.com

Gravities, payouts and all of the stuff is ok... But you guys are forgetting one important thing.
That is Product Quality. Unless you have the product, you'll never know what you are promoting.
I have sold affiliate products using just this simple tactic. I bought products in my hobby field and they were not even listed on clickbank. Had no copy watsoever but Because I have used the products I could give more and better info on the product itself.
Using this very same strategy I sold their seminars worth ($700).
Again These guy sell products only because of Words of mouth advertising. I am yet to see good sales copy on their sites.
Now unless I loved those products, I'd have never be able sell them...

Hi Varun,
Totally agreed with you. Never promote something for sheer profit without evaluating the quality of the product! Especially if you're to sent the recommendation to your list. Because they'll unsubscribe imm.
Anyway, isn't that tough for newbie with little money Varun? Just can't buy every single product don't they?

If you are starting out in hobby field(make sure its good niche too). There is good chance you already own the products or have seen them through friends or relative.
In my case I had bought couple of products from the author even before I got in IM.
Plus if you are not writing in niche, you'll find good prices... not like in IM where the prices are way too much inflated and overhyped...
then again if you don't have that option.. Go that extra mile in research about authors, company etc.
Like In Internet marketing. I'd buy anything by willie crawford or IMC(Corey Rudl's Company) or by Michel Fortin or by Allen says.... why Cause I know they deliver the goods.
