Just one affiliate program is not enough to guaranty a consistent income. What happens if that program goes out of business? The best way to go is to establish a multiple stream of income from different affiliates programs so when one went under, the rest continue to pay and every day life will not be disrupted. One of the best ways to know that you are with an honest marketer is to do a search with the word "review" before or after the name. It works pretty well. Of course, take Allan's free advice...he's always led me down the correct path. I'm not making a fortune (yet Wink

) but am getting better every week thanks to the advice of Allan and those here!

It may surprise you, I made money most from moving products - moving boxes, packing supplies, moving companies, etc. Took products from ebay and code from CJ. Also got links from other websites.

I earn from lots of different programs to, but find the best to start of with is probably by joining an affiliate network like ShareASale or something and joining one or 2 programs from there. At least if you don't reach the minimum payout for the program then you always could join another program and earn from that and you will still get your earnings from the first program as the network takes care of the earnings.

I make good money from automotive affiliate programs on CJ and Linkshare, and my site is about an automotive topic. But I would not do very well with health care progams, even though that is a great affiliate niche, because my vistors are not on my site to buy health care products. It also means that automotive progams won't work well for you if your site isn't about an automotive topic.

The point is that you can't just slap various affiliate program links on your site and hope to make money.

There is nothing like a best affiliate program. We should choose a product that is useful to the audience and market it. As internet marketing involves a lot of competition, i would say a niche area would be better.

I personally feel Clickbank is better in terms of its programs and affiliate commissions and delivery of payments.

I use www.kaftans-direct.co.uk they give 10% commision on completed orders, they are very friendly family run business with many orders so never lacking commision or support.. give them a try!

Hi, I don't think it is the program as much as the way you go about marketing it. i guess what I'm saying is you need to learn the neccessary skills more than finding the right program. As long as it is a reputable company with a decent pay structure. So if you are not making money yet I would say it is to do more with your skll level than the program you are promoting.
