When replying to a message, click the reply button but then leave the subject line blank or you will start a new topic. In that way your message will stay in the same topic.
Don't just throw a question to the wind as it were. Do a search first. A recent question asks for advice on "keywords" when a quick use of the search function for anything containing "keyword" in the text brings up 565 posts!! Use this search function and browse around. Then ask sensible questions based on the ones you've researched.
Of course, in answering messages, feel free to use your profile to create up to 300 characters in your signature file that benefits you. Avoid URL's in your answers unless accompanied by explanatory information. Obvious advertisements will be deleted.

Here's a tip I use to search this forum...
There is a search function on here, but to be honest, I find it a bit "rough around the edges". Since Allan has gone out of his way to set this forum up to be SE friendly, it is often possible to get better results from a Google search...
To set up a search just for posts in this forum, you need to include "inurl:associateprograms/discus" (yes, some programmers can't spell) as part of your search query. For example...
inurl:associateprograms.com/discus your search phrase
...but change the part in red to the actual phrase you are looking for.
You can include phrases in quotes or any of the normal features of the Google advanced search options. Here's a real example I tried just now...
inurl:associateprograms.com/discus ("Andrew Goodman" OR "Perry Marshall")
Sometimes you need to click "repeat the search with the omitted results included" to get the full set, but generally this yields better results than the phpBB forum search.
Please make use of this before asking a question, as there's a wealth of knowledge and opinion shared here already.
All the best,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
