If you are referring to the co-regs in newsletter registration, this is what i understand it- it pertains to the practice of referring subscriptions concurrent with another registration process.
I am aware of two different ways to co-reg:
1. Signing up for a free subscription or other service are offered the chance to opt-in to other offers after the initial registration. Pretty much the same practice of MSN when you registers a new account.
