Start with a niche, not a product. Unless you are planning to cash in quick on many different niches, the best way is to approach one niche and become authority in that niche.
Your mileage may vary though... _________________ I help small business owners overcome technology challenges in building their business online.

I'd suggest PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and PPL (Pay-Per-Lead). From my experience it's just easier to get someone to click on a link or fill out a form --and you get paid!
PPS (Pay-Per-Sale) is good too but it just requires more time, marketing savvy, and at times more money to finally get someone to pull out their cash or wallet. But it can be done - particularly depending on your niche, your list, and the level of trust you (and your affiliate program sales site) builds with your visitors. _________________ *Viral Marketing Mix

| ClickBank is a great affiliate program and easy to use. The only downside is that you have to manually create hoplinks for the products you want to promote. Clickitz (dot com) has a web store that affiliates can get to promote all of ClickBank's products and all the hard work (creating hoplinks, formatting ect) is already done for you! |

I'm going to repeat what Hendry Lee said.

When I said Pay-Per-Click I was referring to you as the affiliate marketer using something like google adsense to get paid when your visitors click on your adsense ads - connected with your account. Everytime they click your ads YOU get paid -simple as that. I wasn't suggesting to start off with Google 'Adwords' where you're the advertiser paying for the clicks. That's a more advanced area....just wanted to clarify that. _________________ *Viral Marketing Mix

Ideal is Pay per lead. It is not difficult to get in leads. _________________ Make Money Online
