In incomming link building people advise to vary the anchor text, and vary the url (4-5 anchor texts and 4-5 urls) instead of using just 1 of each. Variety is good.

But if you have one blog, with 1 url
eg.."www.My-blog.blogspot.com"

How can i make the links point to 4-5 different urls on this blog, if the blog is just 1 url - "www.My-blog.blogspot.com" ?

The only think i can suggest is I can use 4-5 different Posts of the blog, which will make 4-5 different urls.

"www.My-blog.blogspot.com/post1"
"www.My-blog.blogspot.com/post2"
"www.My-blog.blogspot.com/post3"
"www.My-blog.blogspot.com/post4"


or should i just use 1 url -"www.My-blog.blogspot.com"?

what are the disadvantages of using just ONE url, compared to 4-5 when building incoming links, from SEO ranking point of view...? ?

Please answer + advise...

I don't recommend having a Blogspot blog - I think you should get your own domain name so that people will remember it, instead of Blogspot. Also, at a whim, Google could delete your blog if it contravenes some rule or other. It happens. Anyway...

It would be a very SMALL blog if it had only one URL.

Surely you'll have articles archived and they will have their own URL? You can get links to those pages. I looked at a few Blogspot blogs here - http://blogsofnote.blogspot.com/ - and they seem to have individual pages they could get links to.

Getting links from other sites to your internal pages shows the search engines that those pages are important. It's quite natural for an important, useful site to attract external links to many of its internal pages. So that's what you want, too.
