I am sorry if it's not the place to ask because I 'm not sure under which forum should I post it. I wanted to promote my site in the different search engines. I've encountered the following site that supplies micro projection, and I've noticed that it has high page rank. Now it's not a big site so how can I promote mine as well?

There are several ways you could promote your website.
One way I could point you for starters is to search on the web and learn about the basics of internet marketing. There are many techniques out there that you could apply. Look for ways to create backlinks.

You can promote your site using article marketing. If you get your articles into some of the best article marketing directories it will be easier for google to find your site when the directory is indexed.

Search Engine optimization is virtually ALL about building backlinks. You just need to get the basics right for your on-page factors - H1 tags, description and maybe some alt tags.

The rest is all about links.

High Page rank and high Google ranking is all about the quality and quantity of links that are pointing to your site. It's the most reliable way for Google to determine how 'important' you really are.

There are lot of ways to promote a site. Some methods mainly target on traffic while some other methods target on SERP.

If you take forum signature links and article marketing you will increase traffic and SERP both.
