Good day!
I am hoping to find AssociatePrograms members who manage affiliate programs, and who may be able to share their views...
I have searched but am unable to find threads on web hosting that includes an ecommerce package to track sales, manage affiliates, includes unlimited autoresponders, email accounts and aliases, mailing list management, newletter/ezines, provide secure downloads for product purchases (digital info), plug-n-play type automation systems. AND - very important - a comprehensie knowledge base for self-education (willing to learn the technical aspects, scripting, etc) plus responsive and reliable technical support for troubleshooting, as we are *not* programmers.
I realize the above is not a conclusive or complete list... just a basic outline for a complete e-business system. We have so far been through a customized solution (great programmers, no clue about marketing/followup/automation) and have moved to a supposed all-in-one, which has so far proven to be a nightmare of programming errors and a horrific lack of customer/technical support. After several months we still have gaping holes in the system.
Looking to move soon! Thanks in advance for any info or leads for me to follow up on.

I think in most cases, you would have to find a hosting that has the best benefits that you can find, then purchase and install the extra software as needed.
He has a pdf ebook about choosing affiliate management software. It is extremely comprehensive and compares the various features for the three main categories of different solutions.
The book is not brand new, but is still mostly relevant today. It covers what is a very complex question comprehensively but clearly. Here's a direct link...
