I could use some suggestions on this idea...
I have resell rights for over 260 web templates and [URL removed] I am currently selling them for $12 which is quite cheap. But I wonder about the potnetial of these templates. Would it be better to offer these for *takes a deep breath* free? Adds some google banners or affiliate with some sites or somthing? Or am I just being impatient and I should hang it the a few months and try to get sales?

Your opinions are very welcome and encouraged!

Hi,

Like discussed in posting:
http://www.associateprograms.com/discus/ftopic6095.html

I have also had a year account at boxedart, more templates than one could ever use, very cheap. The problem is How to customize them (without everything bouncing of the screen), how to get them good SEO, how to set them up in my site (with Server Side includes so you dont have to update so much). Give this information for free and people are more than happy to cough up $20 for a template.

Bas

Try doing some work or spending some money on advertising instead of baiting people with fake questions. Also please don't send me Private Messages unless you have a genuine question.

Whoa?! Fake questions? If you had answered my question like many helpful people did you would learn I was making a new site and wanted to know how I should do it, free or try to charge. You'll also notice I've asked people about pro's of .net names BECUASE I'M MAKING A NEW SITE! It's not advertising the current one which I won't even be hosting once I get my new domain name. I take offense to your comments.

I would lik eot thank all the people who did give me supportive advise. You gave me a new outlook on how to do business. Thanks.

Fair enought if that is the case. I think most people would agree that the purpose of a poll is to get feedback on a topic that concerns all affiliates and not for your own market research purposes. Why don't you just ask a general question of the other forum members instead of using a poll?

I do object to receiving two 'PM's' for no apparent reason other than to draw attention to your posting which is little more than spam.

findthattemplate,
You PM'd the Moderator and you were told to use messages and replies to gain information.

I suggest that, if you continue to spam (yes, I have deleted several of your messages in inappropriate places), it will be necessary to delete your registration.

I invite members to advise me if you continue inappropriate PMs.

I AM NOT TRYING TO SPAM! I think it is very rude to delete my post I had. I siad I didn't know where to post so so "please feel free to move it" I wanted the admin to find a better place for it not cyberspace...

I was in noway promoting the site! I was listing my circomstances, thats y I posted the price, which also had to do with wether I should offer them for free. What I was trying to put across was if I'm selling them for $X then should I just give them away? notice I didn't add the price because I don't want you to think I'm advertsing them!

All I wanted was advice. I apologize for pming you after recieving great advice from my first pm but he didn't seem to mind so I didn't think you would. I don't know how homebiz got 2 but that wasn't my intention.
