From time to time is see talk about Corey Rudl. I did a little checking and I see he has a course on Internet Marketing for $197. Has anyone tried it? If so, good results? Bad results?

He also has an affiliate link. Has anyone become an affiliate and how has that worked for you?

It occured to me after I posted, that I hadn't done a search. I have now done so and I have a lot of info. If you feel like responding great, but I see a lot of information now. If there's new information, I'd be interested in reading it.

Corey's Internet Marketing package consists of 2 big books and several CDs. You need to study and practice. Persistence is the most important factor to succeed using Corey's package. I've a friend using it and now is in progress to be a successful Internet Marketer.

I got the two binders with 2 CDs. I have just started reading it. ALSO, I have 3 Rudl video tapes. Have watched one so far.

There are different techniques in each course, but all of the ones I have so far say CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT and presell the customer.

After watching Corey tonight, I need to look at each page on my sites and see how they can be tweaked. He's heavy into your customers question, "what's in it for me"? Again content and presell. Same as Ken Evoy, sames as James Martell

I do not think any one of these gurus has the absolute answers. However, I do believe that it is worth buying the programs from each one of the major players and see what they have to offer.

I look at it as the espense of doing business. It is also the expense of getting an education. Buy all the major progams and you will have an investment of about $1000-$2000. What other business offers the income potential from such a small investment.

Again the underlying message I see from all of them is content and presell.

Even if Corey's $197 program completely sucks, you have learned something. You had advance you education. So far I'm impressed with what I've seen and read from Corey.

I think it used to be his favourite saying. Don't know if it worked. Wink

If they have to ask me to trust them, why would I???? Shocked

"If I get just one good idea from a book I'm happy" (which roughly translates as "keep on buying everything I recommend").

I have Cory Rudl's materials, he is very good. I have a lot of courses by several internet marketers and selecting what works best for you is key. I also recommend Yanik Silver and Joe Vitale.

I don't have any any of Cory Rudl's tapes or courses. I did sign up for, what I thought, was one of his newsletters though which as I remember asked for my phone number. (It may have been for more info on a course, I don't remember) I thought it strange, but gave it. Now, I know nothing about the man or the course, it could be the greatest money I'll ever spend. I'm not knocking it, just getting my ignorance clear up front.

About a week later I received a phone call saying I was being considered as a "protege" (or some such) how many millioniares he's created, etc, and "for only" $7000 I could become the next internet millionaire." What proceeeded were personal questions about my credit cards, how much was owed on each, whether I owned a home, gross monthly income, etc. I answered all politely and generally. (Which means extremely vague as to be no use whatsoever) and asked, what I thought was an pertinent question: "So what do I get for my money, again?'

"Well you get personal coaching from Cory Rudl's handpicked team of proteges and ...."
Yes, but what exactly is that? I mean, what are they going to do for me that is worth me paying..."
"You have HEARD of Cory Rudl haven't you?"
"Well, yeah..."
"So then you KNOW then that he's..."
"No, no, that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking..."
"I don't think this program's for you, Sir."

I was getting ready to say pretty much the same thing, so I wasn't offended. But I thought the price tag for hand-holding was a bit over the top. Maybe I'm wrong.

Yup if you are starting out in Internet marketing I would highly recommed his course... I waited for a while before I got his course... after reading it I wondered Why I waited all this while...
Another Marketers I liked is Joe Vitale.. I liked his Hypnotic series(specially marketing n writing).
well I m considering James martell right now... but I wonder if I hav that much time to read n follow his advice... who knows I might buy his stuff soon.. too

I have both Corey Rudl and James Martell's programs. I am much more impressed with Corey Rudl. He has more in depth explanations of what he is talkign about. He has actuall websites you can visit to see what he is talking about.

Martell talks about what to do but never shows you by example. His course is an easy read and has you going more quickly. His course is a 347 page PDF ebook. He relies on using Frontpage as your site building tool.

Rudl has two physical binders sent by snail mail. One is 301 pages the other is 300 pages. PLUS two CDs of information and two smaller booklets of information.

If you want to understand what you are doing, I would recommend Corey Rudl. My recommendation IF you could only afford one program would be Corey Rudl. It will take you longer to study his material, but when you are done you will know what he talked about. I left Martell's course with too many questions left unanswered, especially the one, "where is one of his sites he will show as an example of what he is doing".

Martell has some good points and good information. Buy both if you can afford them. Making this work is like going to college or trade school. Take a number of courses and learn the various methods available.
