|

| I just had a horrible experience with Dell Affiliate program via CJ.com. Whenever my clients place an order via my links that I supply them via email. The order NEVER shows up on my CJ report that order was placed. The last 2 orders were decent they added upto around $5500.00. I emailed dell affiliate program and told them all the order numbers and all the related info, they verified that the order existed and shipped and that it had been 30 days since the order shipped. They also recognized I (the affiliate) was obviously involved with the sale, but they flat out refused to give me the commission because the buyer (my client) went to a search engine (supposedly) and found dell that way, and then bought. They just say sorry, we understand its frustrating but we are very strict. I told the lady, bottom line I was directly involved with these 2 sales, I referred my client to you, and I can prove that by me knowing all the order info. You need to make an exception and not give me all the technical reason why it does not qualify because of them leaving the site and then coming in from another search link. They would not do it. So obviously they do not want me to refer more clients, so I am just warning all you guys from the getting ------- by Dell. |

Happens to me all the time with CJ. CJ links don't track very well.
I never use their javascript.
If you're clients are family it might be time to return the gear.
There are so many of these big companies that just USE affiliates. There are programs that are set up so affiliate can not make money at all.
Send a letter off to your rep at CJ and ask them why their links didn't track the sale.
Nobody uses a search engine to find dell. They type in the domain direct. _________________ FREE SEO and Keyword Suggestion Tools

| I even called CJ and had them look at my activity thru that link I sent my client, and they showed it being clicked on that day I emailed the link to my client. So the tracker is working. When I send buy.com links I see immediate results of the order that my client placed. So I am convinced its not anything I am doing that is incorrect. Dell just does not want to pay. Ohh one more thing, Dell did not want to investigate this matter until AFTER the 30 day RETURN period. Interesting game they play. CJ should not allow this crap, I am going to request Dell be removed from the program. |

Did the client confirm they ordered from that link after clicking on it. If they did it could be one of 2 thinngs. First software that puts somone elses id is on clients computer or second what you think happened.
I know they a have real problem with some programs with software that puts someone elses id in. _________________ Surveys that pay

| No, Dell confirmed when I talked to them that they do not show any other affiliate trying to take the commission. They said both orders looked like they were coming from search engines. |
