Hi momsmacktalk,
Before anyone can suggest an affiliate program to you, we would need more information.
-What is the theme of the site you want to place this affiliate program on?
-Are you looking for an affiliate program to fit into the general theme or a specific aspect of the theme?
-Do you want an affiliate program run by a network or a private affiliate program?
-Commission schedule?
-Tiered - non tiered?
-Payment method?
-Payment schedule?
-Payment threshold?
-etc.?
There is (should be) a lot of thought given to picking out affiliate programs to work with on your website.

I have a directory for spanish market and i only have one program good for you,
Onlynaturalpet, managed by Commssion Junction
You can visit my web and look for other interesting program (if your target is Hispanic Market)

Not knowing what your other requirements might be as I listed them, I would suggest you Google "Pet Affiliates". You will find some very interesting and unusual items you may be able to offer your customers, but you may have to sign up with a few companies to offer everything you want to your customers.
If you go with an independent affiliate program that is not well known, Google the name of that company for reviews, or ask them for references.
If you want a one-stop, standard pet affiliate company, try a place like Petco http://www.petco.com. Most of the big chains have their own affiliate programs. If you don't see the affiliate program listed on the bottom of the main page, look for their site map.
You can always try one of the big affiliate networks, too. I know LinkShare lists a few pet related affiliate programs. http://www.linkshare.com/

I think i would look for some pet toys and try commission junction i think they have some sites. Natural remedies also would be a good idea for pets but make sure company is well known.
