So many hosting companies put restrictions on running mailing list software for large optin lists on their servers.

I have a list which I send a newsletter out to weekly with over 6000 subscribers. My current host has said a list of this size does not comply with their accepted user policies.

I do not want to use a third party service like aweber or Topica. I simply want to re-install my Mailing List software script on a suitable server and carry on as before.

Can anyone recommend a quality reliable host with an excellent track record and reasonable pricing who accepts mailing lists?

1and1 does. I run a couple of mailing lists from their servers... nothing of the level that you have... but their only policy is "excessive CPU usage", and it must fit into your bandwidth...

Most of the good mailing scripts are very polite now on CPU usage, and bandwidth shouldn't be an issue.
