For my snowboard site I should go in

Wow, it never occurred to me to
add the index.html.
I didn't suggest that. I was hoping you could remove "index.html" from the nav bar, so that all your links were the same as your external links.
However, apparently all basic SBI sites use that system without any problems, so I wouldn't worry about it. (I just checked my SBI sites - they're like that.)
Rather than making the changes you're planning, I think your time would be better spent creating more keyword-rich pages or getting more links to your site with your keywords in the anchor text.
It's possible to waste too much time on theory instead of doing what you definitely know works well. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I had the same my home page was a pr4 and the other pages a 3. After a month or so the PR of my home page changed to 0 and the internal pages kept there page rank.
It sorted itself out in about 1.5 month. Wouldn't worry to much about it. Google seems to change there PR policy for new sites.
I noticed that the problem of being put back to a pr 0 or being sandboxed didn't occur for my sites listed in Yahoo directory.
I'm not sure but I think Google is building in some sort of "waiting" period. Frustrating but that were the fun of Martell comes in.... just start a new site .. it keeps your mind of your impatience of your sites PR and SERPs
