Hi Everyone,

I need your help. I am attempting to insert an image link to an affiliate on one of my pages. I placed the image in a single cell table with a couple of lines of text under it and made it clickable to the merchant. So far so good!

However, when I place it on the page, it pushes all the text below it, instead of alongside it. I tried it without the table too, just a linkable image, but it does the same thing.

I wonder if I'm just not seeing the forest for the trees!

Any help is much appreciated,
Patti

I think you want to fiddle with the "align" property of the img tag. Not positive, since I use CSS now, and the align tag is deprecated (discontinued).

Your html for that image should look like this:

<img src="..." style="float: right;">

Or you could make the code look like :

<img src="...." align="left">

Just be aware that hspace and vspace are going away in XHTML Strict, so you would be safe down the road by learning CSS.

Here is a link provided from another post with some CSS tutorials: http://www.echoecho.com/css.htm
