I am finally ready to outsource my article writing. Does anyone have any suggestions on good authors/article writers. And what sort of price should one be paying per article page?

It's surprising how little it's necessary to pay for well written articles. The going rate seems to be about $5 to $7, or more for special articles requiring lots of research, illustrated articles etc.
This low rate is very upsetting for full-time freelance writers who are used to being paid far greater sums by offline magazines. Americans are competing with people in other countries where the American dollar goes a long way.
Quality, reliability etc are likely to vary hugely, so you'll want to start with a small contract to test a new writer. _________________ Allan Gardyne
