I've rec'd my copy of Article Announcer, and I've spent a couple of nights now going over the material. I'll give my appraisal later, in another thread. Probably this weekend.

1) One of the AA manuals mentioned, almost in passing, the possibility of using a pseudonym. Has anyone here done that? I can certainly see that as an advantage in some niches, or if you have a day job that might be endangered. Are article directories ok with this?

2) Re: Calls To Action in resource boxes - what do I do if a particular CTA ain't bringing in the bacon(7 Best Ways To Remove Earwax) and I want to change it? Is that ok? Should I not break the trust of the user?

3) Can I make the website itself the "author" of an article, rather than a person?

There are dozens of article directories and they don't have a standardized set of rules.

It is usually okay to use a pseudonym. It should sound like a real name though, and use one per domain. In other words don't use the same pseudonym for several different sites.

It is better to use a name instead of the website name as the author. There are some directories that may not accept the article without a first and last name.

There's nothing wrong with using a pen name (at least not in the US or Canada). Just don't claim to have some expertise you don't (like claiming to be a MD when you are not).
