I've been reading the forum on blogs and am getting great info. I have heard about blogging but have never tried it. Are there protocol rules for blogs? Do I have to be careful what and how I say it (no deflamitory remarks just straight biz opps)? Can anyone give me some pointers ie: what has worked for them and what stinks?

Write what you want. Just follow the guidelines for any affiliate or AdSense stuff...

AdSense limits what you can write about (they only allow ads on certain sites). You can read the AdSense guidelines to find out what they don't allow.

But otherwise, you write what you want. That's a blog. If your honest, you'll usually go farther than if your flaming folks.

However, you can raise valid complaints and still be honest and polite.

When writing on your blog you want to create a buzz .....

Choose your tone and if your readers like what you say then they will keep coming back.

Obviously being contraversial allows interaction with your audience who in time will comment on your posts.

Most of all - enjoy your blog.
