I've been around this forum for about 8 months now here and there....and i've learnt a lot.
I have been saving all my adsense money from my SBI-inspired site to buy SBI.
But before i take the plunge, i need a few questions answered.
I've been tinkering with my site thru' dreamweaver, photoshop and a bunch of other tools. Uploading thru CuteFTP.
I know SBI doesn't all the editing tools i'm used to..
Since i'am in a full time job, i can contribute a max of 2 hrs everyday and a lttle more in the weekends. So wouldn't this chore of writing and uploading single pages be a big task?
What do y'all think? _________________ A part-time effort to a full-time income |

Which ever direction you take in affiliate marketing, you face a big task, with a lot of learning to do.
One of the big advantages of taking the SBI route is that it teaches you so many different facets of marketing while it teaches you how to build a successful business. It teaches you all the basics.
If you want to concentrate on creating one successful site - or a small number of successful sites - it's a very good way to go. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Thanks allan,
My web journey started with Sitesell and AP.....and i have learnt quite a bit actually.
Now when i have meade up my mind to buy SBI, i feel like a dangerous customer again...need to make a lot of decision before i buy..
I'm very excited actually. these days i have been behind the scenes of SBi as an affiliate and now i'm seem ready for action, but i'm a bit nervous as well. my concerns are in the last post. I feel if i buy it and don't spend enough time, it may go to a waste.
As i mentioned, one of my initial dreams was to buy SBI and i have been saving my paltry adsense income just for the right time..and i believe it has come now. I'am also thinking that i introduce my sis to this concept and build 2 sites. _________________ A part-time effort to a full-time income |

Dear Deadly,
Your concern is very real. Starting a successful web site can be a humungous undertaking. I had a site prior to SBI, and I've been with SBI about a year and half now. I can definitely tell you that it's a whole lot easier to learn the SBI site-building technique than it is to go off on your own. The block-building concept that SBI uses is great for non-tech types -- it's fast and versatile. And, best of all, you immediately get a whole slew of business associates in the SBI forums who will pitch in to help out with any problem.
So, welcome aboard! I look forward to seeing you in the forums. _________________ Jan Davis

How has SBI worked out for you?
Did it live up to expectations, or what?
How was their support and assistance?

George / seeking2learn:
I know I probably have no business saying this, but if people are happy with SBI, why can't you just let it be?
There are plenty of people who agree with you that SBI stinks and would be happy to discuss their dislikes with you. When you see a post about someone happily purchasing an SBI site, why do you have to post a negative comment? I just don't understand why you feel you need to make everyone despise SBI.
From a happy SBI customer. _________________ Michelle from love-new-hampshire.com |

Though i purchased SBI about a month back, my pace is going slow and I'm still in the brainstorming stage.
Though i would say that i'm proficient with dreamweaver,I'm now able to introduce my friends and family members to SBI.
I'm working at my own sweet pace and the feedback from the newsletters and forums have been very helpful.
Still a long way to go but I'm very positive on what needs to be done.
