Hi guys,
I'm looking for some nice software that I can use to make my own ebook covers. I don't have Photoshop and that seems to be the one everyone uses. Is there another option out there that would do a good job?
thanks! _________________ 50 Link-Building Methods That Work

Since no one else has answered, I'll have a go.
A few years ago, we reviewed some software which makes it easy. If you do a sesarch for
site:associateprograms.com ebook cover
or something like that in Google you can probably find it. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Thanks Allan for the great tip. I found the page you mean and it looks good.
As an FYI...your affiliate link on that page doesn't seem to be working. You should check it out to make sure you get credit for the sales you refer.
thanks again! _________________ 50 Link-Building Methods That Work

Yeah, virtual creator is a good choice. It has free templates, too. You can try Scott's box shot maker for the 3d box, if you're really cash strapped.
There are many other 3d box softwares you can use. I saw something like 3d ecover box on google, which you can download for free. On the other hand, there are ecover softwares that offer trial versions but have the word 'trial' on your work unless you buy a license. _________________ New headers, templates, and other high quality

Hi again,
I have to add something here.
Its good that you want to be cost concious and
get a eCover software to design your eBooks.
But you will only be allowed a certain level
of flexibility in terms of creativity as there
will only be a certain number of templates available.
I highly suggest employing the services of a
eBook designer.
Virtual Cover costs $97 but if you find the right
person to do it for you it could only cost as much as $49 to do a professional cover for you.
Proceeds from the sale of your eBook could then spur
you on financially and you could eventually
get your own graphics desinger for every project you embark on.
No need to spend time designing and doing everything yourself.
Sincerely

I used Mark Mioncindini's Ecover action scripts... takes about 45 seconds to finish up e-cover. if you add your own images, it'll take upto 5 minutes..
plus he provides video guide to create awesome covers with photoshop.. I learnt more stuff from these videos than from photoshop boooks
