|
August 18th I submitted a question to CJ regarding a reporting issue.
Today I recieved yet ANOTHER automated response.
"Recently you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response.
Commission Junction will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 72 hours.
Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you. Client Services Commission Junction, A Valueclick Company"
And here is today's "RESPONSE"
Dear Commission Junction Client,
You recently submitted an incident regarding the CJ Marketplace. We are sorry that we were unable to resolve your particular incident in a timely fashion. If you feel this issue still needs resolution please reply to this e-mail or log into your CJ Account Manager?, access the ?Ask A Question? option from the ?Contact Us? link and update this issue and we will get back to you in 72 hours.
Sincerely,
Commission Junction Client Support
530 East Montecito St.
Santa Barbara, CA 93103
What the hell? Of course I want an answer - I don't ask questions just to be asking.
And their response is if I feel I still need a resolution to respond back yet again. And if I don't respond within 72 hours they will consider this resolved?
And they send this right before a holiday weekend.
What is going on with these people? My question is a very simple one. But only they can answer it.
--- update half hour later ---
I replied to the message as instructed and it got bounced back to me. I guess this is the "new model" for customer service at CJ. Just ignore the requests and hope they go away. _________________ FREE SEO and Keyword Suggestion Tools

I finally got a reply - but it had nothing to do with my real question. They just dodged it again. So I figure it's not worth following any more.
CJ doesn't want to disclose the real reasons they are (or were - and probably will again) pushing their new javalinks so hard.
Apparently there has been a lot of internal friction and turnover as well. _________________ FREE SEO and Keyword Suggestion Tools

I was with CJ for a while. The only product I continue to promote is HostGator. (That's the only reason I stay with CJ.) I am not impressed.
On the other hand, LinkSAhare is a joy to work with.

My comment is dated by now... but FYI calling is a nice option. And when you call what they do is type a note for you on their little screen and it goes off to their "team" who never gets back to you.
They are nice people on the telephone, but there is little follow through in my experience. I can only imagine it's a numbers game. Small salaried staff with many many issues to deal with, and unless you are a big cheese... good luck. _________________ FREE SEO and Keyword Suggestion Tools
