|
|
Did anyone try services like 1000000links.com, in which you place a link to them in your blog, then click on it and you get 1,000,000 links back to your blog instantly?
I thought this is exactly what is known as "link farms", which I think will get you into trouble with SE. If it is something else, please inform. _________________ Home Based Business - Advertising - Search Engine Marketing & Making Money Online!

Yes, it's a link farm. It says so in the FAQ. _________________ Allan Gardyne

It looks like this may be against Google TOS. It may qualify to be link exchange system which can hurt your PR and indexing. _________________ 16 Year old kid From Australia Reveals...

The rule is to build links manually and naturally. Don't use programs or sites like these as you will be against Googles Webmaster Guidelines and will likely get a little in trouble. _________________ Affiliate Programs Directory - Over 2,000 Programs

Link farms will not help you. But if you don't link out to them they won't hurt you either.
Otherwise you could simply list your competitors site on the link farms and get them banned.
Google knows you can only control what you have on your own site. They will of course penalize you for cross linking schemes which you can control.
So there is no point in participating, nor is there any in worrying about all the crappy links pointing to your site (Because you can do nothing about them).
You need to worry about who you link out to and try to develop solid reputable incoming links. One really good link is worth more than a 1,000 super crappy ones. _________________ Earn $10 INSTANTLY for Promoting Affiliate Products

Avoid link farms by all means. They will
decrease your rankings in the Google
search results. Also, it is against
Google's TOS.
There are better ways to get high PR links
back to your website.
You have to keep this in mind:
Google wants your site to have text(back)links
relevant to the theme of your website.
So, whatever technique or way you do it
use textlinks in your bio-box if you submit
articles. Use text-links in your description
if you submit to directories. Of course the
text-link will have relevant keywords to the
theme of your website in it. _________________ Rudy Dhondt

Don't be obsessed with backlinks. I know i was and boy was that a waste of time.
If you want/need backlinks badly start writing 300-400 word articles on your topic. It's easier than you think and once you get the hang of it isn't time consuming. _________________ PHP Melody - Music Video CMS - (2000 music videos DB included) |

You can get in big trouble for using link farms. I would not recommend it at all. _________________ L. Jerome Privott

If follow google tos you'd sooner get retired before your site gets feasible rankings.
I use blue seo techniques. _________________ Get 1000 free one way links, Best Affiliate Programs, International Calling Cards |

|
|
Hi all, I just had to post that a link farm is definitely avoided by me by all means. But I did use a automated system, which placed my link on numerous relevant sites. It's only been about a month and when I enter my url: www.cjwNetwork.com in google, I receive almost 25,000 results.
So, I am feeling good about that, considering I just launched my new site on Dec, 24th, 2007.
Link exchange programs work, not link farms. _________________ Internet Marketing Articles, Search Engine Optimization Articles, Website Building Articles And More -- Check out:
