I think the best approach is to consciously avoid trying anything that gets you "banned" in the first place.
That way you don't need to worry about trying to cover your tracks. Besides, there are various ways SEs can check who owns what, let alone where it is hosted. Google in particular have access to all sort of registration info, now.
Even if you hosted each domain on completely different, well spaced IPs and had a C block all to yourself for each, it's no guarantee you wouldn't have trouble with other domains.
