...ok ok, this IS from Ewen Chia. I stole it from him, hehe. (With his allowance)
I see it as an experiment, and I wanted to set up something really fast and easy, that EVERYONE can do! It has a opt in conversion rate of about 40%, of which I am really surprised.
But is it good? I know it's pretty hypey with the big cheque from Ewen (Ti Wah) Chia. But it's real, and that's obviously what people respond to. It doesn't fit to my follow up mails though, which are TOTALLY un-hypey, and where I only try to give good content and help people to get on the right trail. So I think although I have a good opt in conversion, maybe I do attract the wrong people to my list.
I will create a more personal page soon, that will completely express myself, with no hype, and split test it against this one.
Maybe it's too early to judge it, because I have not yet so many people in there but so far, people read my mails, they follow links, although they seem not too responsive, and only *1* opt out so far (which I think is awesome).
What do you think about that?
