im desperately looking for a site that would show me a step-by-step website building...
i want to do my own site for online shopping ...
im not an expert here and i consider myself a newbie in online marketing..

Hi Vicki,
I have been recommending newbies to start their own blog. You can get one for free and they are very easy to use. I personally use http://www.blogger.com/.
What type of shopping site are you looking to create? I am working on one right now with a bunch of affiliate programs linked to it and I am planning on posting specials and coupon codes that they are offering.

I use pagebuzz for my website. They have a complete site builder, so you don't need to know anything to get started. They also include a shopping cart that is so easy to use you won't belive it. Its a husband and wife team that work from home, so they are very easy to work with and offer loads of help.
Most companies do have shopping carts, since most people want them. But normally they are extra $$ and sometimes complicated.
I don't see how building a blog will help if you want to sell products. Try out the site builder and see for yourself how easy it is.

Well its not that hard to do. You can create basic websites with programs like Web Easy that is made for new people. If you use paypal, you can incorparate shopping carts in your website.
If you are planning on having hndreds of products, this will take time because there must be quality content on every page.

Site Rubix is being released by the folks that run Wealthy Affiliate on October 9th.
It is supposed to really automate the whole website building process in very little time, and you don't need to know any HTML.
You might give that a try.
